Just Me and the Buds

Still in a festive mood over the release of Shin Godzilla, but beyond that I just felt like doing something fun, especially because thanks to a very inspiring man I want to challenge myself to do better in my artwork than I ever have now that my schoolwork is about to come to a close.  It's time to get really, really serious in my hobby that I love so much.
Also I am thrilled and proud to say regarding this particular piece, and I can lay my hand on a Bible and swear it to be the absolute truth, I did this one from memory.  Every Godzilla design you see here, including Shin Goji, I did from remembering, and that thrills me.  My lifetime of loving this big wonderful dinosaur has really settled the characteristics of each suit in my head far better than I ever imagined.  It's like remembering the face of your best friend.
