Memories of G-Fest: The Metal Warrior

Got back from G-Fest 2015 and I'm happy to say it was not only good, but actually pretty awesome this year, better on a personal level than a lot of previous years.  Though the best part for me is getting to go around and make kids happy.  Nothing beats the feeling of turning a corner in the motel and suddenly there's a 6 year old boy and his little sister, and they both get those big wide eyes and go ga-ga realizing they've just run into their favorite G-Series robot hero.  I got so many kids running up begging for pictures, or even funnier making their PARENTS beg me to let them take pictures that it really made the almost 5 months of construction on the Jet Jaguar suit worth it, for all the pains and frustrations that go into it.
I'll share more of those pics eventually, and there's a lot more to share on the awesomeness of this last convention, but for certain the satisfaction I always feel making kids from age 4 to 44 thrill at seeing their favorite movie characters in 3 dimensions is never to be passed up.  It's a big part of what's made us go back again and again for the last 8 years.
