Ran, Carried By The Wind

Tsukikage Ran is one of my all-time favorite anime.  I'm not up on much of any shows that have come out in the last several years since I kinda capped off my anime collection a while ago, but this show, while short, is a lot of fun and nicely off the beaten path.  It follows the adventures of a lone samurai woman and her quirky Chinese martial artist sidekick.  She's an unbeatable fighter whose main weakness is the devil water sake.  Call it her Kryponite, though you'd never know it as often as she gets right back up and kicks butt.
