I would be open to a commission, yes. Sadly I can't do requests anymore because of my full time working schedule and the comic projects I collaborate on, but paid commissions are always given time on the schedule, there's information on that here: kaijukid.deviantart.com/journa… And thank you, this was one of my favorite pics for the new movie
These art pieces don't just make themselves. The artist has to spend many mutiple hours, sometimes days, to produce a good piece. Time is money, it's not fair to expect an artist to just "make art" of higher caliber for free, but people often assume they can just pump out stuff like magic. Artists need to make a living with the skill set they have, too, and it's only fair and decent to pay people who draw a picture for you the same way you'd pay your plumber or your mechanic for taking the time out of their day to do you a service.
No, it's fine. it's just kind of common I'm finding for a lot of people to think the art pieces are either easy to do, but the main thing is just the time commitment, especially for those of us still taking classes and working full time. I like working on lots of things and I do wish I could take requests, it's just not possible with time crunches
Yep, it was confirmed by Edwards that his Godzilla has gills (to follow the realism.) But I found myself saying, a few weeks before the picture was released, "What would Godzilla look like with gills?" All in all, I like the idea.
the pic from the movie Citizen Kane starring Orson Welles. The scene the clapping is taken from is actually an irony because he's a big business man who has propped up his untalented wife to be a show star, but she's terrible, can't sing, and nobody likes her. So when she's done with her act nobody in the theater applauds, and embarrassed, prideful but somewhat touchingly Kane starts applauding wildly alone, and that's the gif. The pic was appreciated, it's just kinda funny and ironic when you know the context
